Hot tub
Temperature and chemicals

The Hot Tub is set at around 39/40 degrees Celsius. Please do not attempt to adjust the temperature as any changes will not be immediate. Should you require the temperature to be lowered, please speak to Jon or Gill for assistance. We use Bromine rather than Chlorine in this tub.

Bubbles!

Please only use the plastic champagne, wine or tumblers provided. No glass please.
Opening the Cover

The Hot Tub cover is secured by 4 straps and clips, two at the front and two at the back. Please undo these before attempting to lift the cover as the clips will snap.
Lift the cover only by using the handles. Please do not pull on the skirt as this may break the cover. Lift the right-hand side first and fold fully back onto the other half of the cover.
Grab the top of the bar and gently lift to fully fold back the cover. The chain will prevent it from going too far.
Lights and jets
Press the light bulb symbol button on the control panel to turn on and off the mood lights.
Press the 1 and 2 buttons to turn jets on and off to suit. The silver outer ring on each jet can be gently turned in both directions to control the power and to switch off that jet.

The fountain can be controlled by moving the small white lever on the left of the fountain. Please don’t press the menu button or hold any buttons down as this will lock the panel and you won’t be able to adjust the lights or the jets.
Leaving the Tub

Please ensure the jets are not running. Close the cover by pulling on the top of the bar to bring the first half onto the tub, then use the handle on the side of the cover to fold the second half over.
If you have any issues, Jon will be very happy to assist you.
Heating
The house will be set to a comfortable temperature for your arrival, but please let us know if it is too hot or too cold.
The ground floor has underfloor heating and boosted by radiators for very cold weather. You can also light the wood burners in the drawing room, withdrawing room and dining room for added warmth.
Each of the bathrooms has underfloor heating, controlled by the thermostat on the outside of each bathroom, but you shouldn’t need to touch this.
If your bedroom feels too hot you can turn the radiator down. For safety reasons the windows in the bedroom open a maximum of 10cm if you would like fresh air in the room.
The changing room next to the hot tub has a heater, which will be on for your comfort, please don’t touch it with hot hands.
Any issues at all with the temperature of the house, please let Jon know.
